Simpson-Central Iowa Conference football game will be televised statewide

The Oct. 1 Simpson-Central Iowa Conference football game will be televised statewide on the Mediacom Connections Channel (channel 22
in most areas). The game which will kickoff live at 1 p.m., will be
shown on tape delay beginning at 3:30 p.m. The game will also be replayed on Sunday Oct. 2 by Mediacom at 1 p.m. and will be shown again on Wednesday Oct. 5 at 10:30 p.m.

Calling the action will be Larry Morgan and Matt Whitaker. Morgan
will handle the play-by-play. He is the voice of the University of Iowa football and basketball games on ESPN Plus and has served as the radio voice of the Drake University Women's Basketball team.
Whitaker played for the Hawkeyes from 1990-92.

It is believed that this will be the first time that the Simpson-Central will be shown on television since the series began in
1905 (a span of 82 games). The Dutch and the Storm have combined for
38 Iowa Conference Football Championships and 20 NCAA Division III Playoff Appearances.

The Mediacom Connections Channel consists of programs shot, edited, and produced by professionals throughout the state of Iowa.
